Based your feedback, it's clear that one size doesn't fit all. That's why we created two homepage layouts so you can choose the experience that works best for you; the three column layout (our new default view) or the two column layout that's similar to the previous version of the AOL.com Homepage.
To change your homepage layout, just click on the page icon at the top right corner (next to the color picker) and your homepage will refesh to display the appropriate layout.

We we hope you find the feature useful. Let us know what you think!
Best,
Lisa

6. Why do you need to keep changing the appearance and access path through using AOL...this world has enough constant change in it without having to be unnecessarily forced to learn something new...there is some comfort in things staying the same somewhere in one's life. What makes these changes
"necessary"??????

8. You have made so many changes to AOL...you have sacrificed functionality. Profiles are being deleted...the locate function no longer works. Many users have worked a long time on their profiles, customizing to fit their screen name and the reason for the specific screen name. Role players are being gaffed by AOL and so far we can't do anything to change it. We speak with tech help and get we apologize for the inconvenience. Please recreate your profile. You spend an entire weekend adding links, pictures, wording and have it vanish in a puff of smoke, then see how you like being told, we're sorry. please recreate.
Friends have been made through AOL that i treasure very much. I can see them come on the buddy list...wow...that's the reason for the buddy list. I want to go to the room their in to chat. So sorry. Locate function has been deleted. You're out of luck.
Not acceptable. Why are members not notified of changes before they occur? It's not like you don't have our email addresses. If a company with as many email addy's as Walmart can send a mass email to let customers and members know something is changing, it seems like AOL could.
There is more to being online than surfing the net and sending/receiving email.

10. Please remove the new aol home page you were to show me throught and did't agree for it to be my home page

11. Totally unacceptable. You've made so many changes lately that I can't keep track of what you're supposed to do. I have been trying to get into my e mail for the last 30 hours and keep getting pages to look at and decide which I want for my new nome page. I just want to read my mail and its not happening. AOL is about to lose a 6 1/2 year customer and I am still paying the $25.90 a month. This is pure BS. I will be closing my account if something does not improve during the next 24 hours. This is not good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12. i cant find any of the things that i am accustomed to, things that i have saved r gone, lost somewhere in the mists of inefficiency and useless trinkets.
if someone likes this fine, let them have it. however, i didnt ask for this change, to say nothing of dozens of useless features that r nothing but obstructions.
i cant get a direct link to the web and have to go thru internet explorer or google and i despise internet explorer and NEVER use it except to get to aol after upgrading my computer, once there i create a direct link to it.
i dont know what delusional half-wit created this but they need to medicated and placed in a calm, pastoral setting with supervision so as not to harm others or themselves ever again.
btw it does look exactly like yahoo and i dont like or use yahoo either. from what i can tell u have spent large quantities of time and money to create one of the most useless, inefficient and user unfriendly pieces of scrod that i have ever come across.

15. the original aol worked just fine. stop, PLEASE, STOP fixing it.

16. The only access that I have to the internet is through a satellite modem. I accepted your offer for free AOL email for the ease of access when travelling, and for a specific business account contact.
I have absolutely no interest in ANYTHING ELSE that you provide on your website or homepage.
Your "improvements" have significantly increased my difficulty and frustration in accessing my email.
