Feature Spotlight: Homepage Layout Chooser

Based your feedback, it's clear that one size doesn't fit all. That's why we created two homepage layouts so you can choose the experience that works best for you; the three column layout (our new default view) or the two column layout that's similar to the previous version of the AOL.com Homepage.
To change your homepage layout, just click on the page icon at the top right corner (next to the color picker) and your homepage will refesh to display the appropriate layout.

I have been sitting at this computer for 2 hours trying to get some kind of help from aol regarding my ill attempts to email directly from a web site using pop 3 but my screen won't transfer me to the suggested site designated to answer this question. I can't seem to find any online aol site that I can email my questions to. I am extremely frustrated and ready to find another server (I have had aol for 10 years). I also have a question about to allow certain sites to email me with out being sent to spam heaven. Where does one go to get direct help without going through 100 unrelated subjects on the message board to find an answer?

103. I don't know who or where to contact AOL. But Just wanted you to know that my first experience with AOL was my last. You used to send out free Disks for trial runs. Not being a wiz on the computer I installed it but never used it. After a few months I discovered I was being charged a handsome monthly fee for somehting I never used. I called and requested an end to the charge and requested a refund for what I never used - and AOL had a recod that it was never used. - I got a wise response and a BIG NEVER. I am normally a forgiving person - But in Keeping with my experience when I just bought a new Laptop and was offered a "Free" Trial - I am responding with my Big Never again. If you abuse people - then expect that you will see it come around - AOL may have changed but I don't trust you and won't ever again. I have shared my experience with scores of people - many who had similar experiences - Live by treachery - fail by it as well. I know you count on life changing so fast that you won't have to experience the consequences of your actions - but some of us still have a memory - Your web page didn't respoond when I requested contact information - so I am using this vehicle - you will probably remove it in seconds -

106. THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA OF IMPROVEMENT.
AND ALOT OF THE TABS DON'T WORK, NO IMAGES.
NOT EVERYONE LIKES CHANGES, AND I RELY ON SOME THINGS
TO BE THE SAME SO THERE IS ONE LESS HASSLE IN MY DAY.
LOOKS ALOT LIKE YAHOO, WHICH IS NOT GOOD. I ALMOST SWITCHED
TO YAHOO, BUT DIDN'T LIKE THE LOOKS OF IT.
SURELY YOU CAN FIND BETTER THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR TIME AND
ENERGY THAN SCREW WITH SOMETHING THAT ALREADY WORKS.

107. Hello, I have used the "Active Virus Shield" until now...
But itīs not availabe any more...
So then I desided to use the "McAfee VirusScanPlus - Special edition" BUT how do I register myself for that?
When I try the only answer I get is that my phonenumber donīt work. Needing som help.. please

109. What problem are you trying to correct with your constant changes to home page and email. you are making the service less user friendly. I am ready to quit except for the hassle of changing email address.

110. I would prefer the layout not to change so often.
I have had trouble taking the quizes offered.
They are either "temporarily unavailable" or I
am not able to access them at all.

111. When you go online it takes forever for the page to load also what happened to your name on the welcom screen.

I do not know what you have done - but I am ready to drop AOL.
I have not been BOOTED as much as I do now. Iexplore errors that force me out - or worse COLD BOOT.
not to mention I have HUGE difficulties trying to get my mail.
I will be surprised if I am able to actually send this!

113. I don't understand why you guys can't seem to change my local info - weather, local news etc... no matter how many times I update my info. Also - you're new mail interface is completely useless. I can't send mail, load the page or recieve mail in a timely manner. It's like I've gone back to dial up when I try to access my AOL mail.

115. The new page is so wide that I cannot see all of it unless I scroll sideways! That I do not like...I would rather see the entire page horizontally and scroll down to view the balance of the page...Never is scrolling sideways a good thing!

116. When I reduce the homepage so that it goes to the single column at the left of the screen, Autos, Finance, Food, etc.
it does not have the prompt to return to full Homepage, the little Square you click on is darked while the dash is bright and the red x are bright.
How do you bring the Homepage back without going to Keyword AOL Homepage and then getting a Homepage on the screen?

117. In the last two weeks, AOL seems to barely work. It was already one of the slowest sites on the Web. But now, it takes forever to look at mail and respond. Some of my emails were never sent. Everything else works fine on my computer, so I don't believe it has anything to do with my DSL. My main email address has been AOL for years, but I am considering changing.

118. As a G5 Mac (Tiger) user I can no longer access my email account. I have to view it from another's PC which I find
completely annoying and ridiculous. What's the point in
having a free email account with them anymore when all I
get is Bad Request, Bad Request. This all occurred when
the New AOL was introduced. Not to mention, the waiting
time it takes just for this to happen. Pointless, useless!
