Another feature we introduced with the new AOL Homepage are Preview Panels. Preview Panels are the four big iconic buttons located in the top column of the page and combine navigation to popular features (on click of the icon) with a sneak peek of relevant information and functionality that expands down when you mouse over the icon.
We've given you a starter set of Preview Panels including Mail, Weather, Radio and Video. However, you can change 3 of the 4 panels (Mail is permanent) so you control what panels you want displayed on your homepage. Just click on the arrow in the upper right corner of each icon to display the list of options.

We are working on creating more Preview Panel options over the coming months so that we're giving you even more options to choose from. And we'd love to hear what panels you'd like to see on your homepage. So let us know.
Until next time!
Lisa

22. I've finally come to like the new AOL homepage. Could you add Mapquest to the list of preview icons? By the way, its nice that the Mail function in preview is finally working for me. How about the "my portfolio" from financial, could it ever be added? Thanks for trying to make a fresh new AOL. Since I'm a senior, change isn't often welcome, but you're doing a good job.

23. What is one to do when they have a concern about the content of AOL or AIM? Apparently post a blog or nothing! Does AOL not care about our concerns? If I do not hear from them and find a satisfactory resolution I will gladly turn to another service for web and IM's - if that is what AOL wants.

25. This new version removed all of the good parts of the old aol and replaced them with irrelevant drivel. I can't enable links - there's no button. Everytime I follow a link (by copy paste) aol closes and I have to sign on again. I can't find anyway to contact aol (except this ridiculous blog) and all I see here is that everyone hates these changes as much as I do. I need a phone number to call aol; anyone know what it is?????? I would settle for an email contact; anyone know that?????

28. Stop giving me things I do not want. I do not do games, chats, I do shop by internet.
Once I tell you I do not want an up date, let that be it!!!
I should be given just the programs I want. I have been on aol since 1995.
Since aol is going to be free, why am I paying for everyone else.

30. I am sending this again too because I can't tell if it went thru the first time. Please remove the creepy, ugly Netflix ad from my homepage! I pay enough for AOL and I don't care to see all the ads on the homepage, especially such an ugly one.

34. AOL has been changing every week. Fine- I'll assume there's some point. But the newest set of changes is ridiculously stupid. For example, when I address an email an address no longer pops up automatically once I type the first few letters. So, I either have to memorize all my contacts or waste time scrolling through them to find each email address I need. And, the addresses are not even in alphabetial order, so I have to go through each one individually. Who came up with this idea? Would he like to waste his time on an email service such as the one he has helped to create? I think not.

37. I totally agree with all the other opinions against this new & improved???????????NO! SLOWER and UN-IMPROVED-- yes. Whose brainstrom was this? Leave well enough alone.I don't feel like waiting longer and going through all that CRAP. As soon as I can agree on which other server I'm going to sign up with--It's goodbye AOL after 10 years.

38. The top news items are repeatedly repeated. I logged on just a few minutes ago to see stories from last week. Why do the old stories recycle both in the headline section with pictures and in the list of top stories. Please fix. The reason that I stay is that too many people have this address. That may change soon!

39. I must say that I am not happy about the pictures that I have to close out so that I can read my e-mail messages. It is hard to avoid them because I have to close them out first. The majority of them are disgusting like the one today of a boxer falling on his head. Another time was a of a malnourished animal. Can I go back to the old way of signing in?
I am also becoming frustrated because my sign in button is hard to click onto as the page moves while I am clicking it.

40. I have been advised to switch because of all the advertising popups on AOL.I have both AOL and Comcast but I have enjoyed AOL and am used to it (up until now). Two things have changed. I find it hard to sign on because of the advertising pushing my "Sign on" button all the way to the right. When I go to click my sign on button, the whole screen moves and I end up clicking onto weather or something else other than signing on.
Please fix it. I do not want to have to change.
