We received a lot of negative feedback from you about the color of the new Homepage. You told us that the new color options were too neutral, washed out and a radical (but not welcome) departure from the familiar "AOL Blue".
So we took your feedback to heart and went to work on a new set of color options that features a more familiar blue as the default color and a set of more saturated (some might say "juicy") color options for you to choose from.
But before we go ahead and make another change, we want to get your opinion on the new Homepage color options. Check out the new AOL Homepage color options and then let us know what you think. Do you love them? Do you hate them? Or do you not care that much? We want to know!
You can go back to the current the AOL Homepage color options at any time.
My Name is Lisa and I'm the Product Lead for AOL.COM. In short, I lead the team that designs, builds the new versions of AOL.com and make sure that current experience run smoothly. My mission (the team's mission) is to build the best home page for you and everyone that visits AOL.com. This is definitely NOT a one person operation. It takes a village! And I'll be introducing you to the team behind the scenes in the coming weeks.

21. i like this home page alot, not dull, not flashy loads fast enough, the only thing it costs is an ad block. i would use it as my only home page if it would keep me signed in from sesion to sesion. its dissapointing to read the hatefull remarks and im sure you realize you will never please everyone. Keep up the nice improvements and thank you for the nice home page and virus software, free, how can a person complain?

22. I can't believe that you would allow internet access of porn movies, without verifying the age!!!!!!! I was just reading of the Drummer from a band about cancelling their tour, and ended up seeing a PORN movie, with D*%$Ks and C@#!t's available for all to see!!!!
I'm sure you will be sued by people, and I hope this will be a lesson to AOL, to have filters automatically put in, with any links!!!! You'll be hearing from me again!!!!

25. THAT THIS KEEPS UP POPPING UP ALL THE TIME HINDERS OUR USE OF
AOL. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER WAY TO MAKE THIS OPTION AVAILABLE TO PEOPLE. MAYBE WE SHOULD ALL FIND ANOTHER "HOME PAGE" WITHOUT THIS INTERRUPTIONS!

28. Karyn, on the main mail page near the right upper side near the setting and help links there are a lot of little color squares. Just click on one of them to change the color any time you want.

29. i HATE the new aol homepage. some of my complaints:
1) your email disappears when you read it unless you remember to click mark as unread
2) you have to click to go back to your list of emails
3) you can't view other emails while writing one
4) ADS i don't want to look at ads everytime i read an email. it's enough to make me quit aol.
5) the address book doesn't even begin to work
6) when you click on TO and the contacts come up you have to scroll back up and click send.
In general too many clicks required for everything.
BAD BAD BAD redesign.

32. I like the orange color. Orange is the complement of blue; so the blue type looks good with it.

37. There is an error in Gary Hoffman's article about speed limits. Virginia has a stretch of highway on Interstate 85 that has a 70 mph speed limit.
