Today we introduced 6 new Preview Panels that are now available to everyone and we are really excited about them. Added to the list are new Preview Panels for eBay, Finance, Health, Movies, Music, and TMZ.
To refresh everyone's memory, Preview Panels are the 4 large buttons at the top right of the page that expand when you mouse over them. What's great about Preview Panels is that they present a lot of information without taking up a lot of space and cluttering your homepage. Just rollover the Preview Panel to see the content you want without having to click off to another page. Plus, customization options allow you to choose the Preview Panels you want to appear on your homepage.
To select one of these new panels, simply click on the small triangle in the upper right of any of the Preview Panels (except Mail which is permanent – everyone wants to see their e-mail right?). Once you choose a new Preview Panel, your web browser will remember your choices and load these up for you every time you open the page.

We hope that you have a chance to try them all and see which ones you like best. Over the next few weeks, we will highlight each of the new Preview Panels on the blog to give you a better understanding of the new features and functionality.
So we really want to hear your feedback on the all of the new Preview Panels. Do you like them? Are they easy to use? Are there things you wish they could do to make it even better? Are there other Preview Panels that you don't see that you would find useful?
We look forward to hearing from you!!!
Sanjay

67. The place were you can put the finance page will not allow it to stay there for the next time I log in. Also, I don't want to have the sites I've been to show in the www. address window. How can I make it clear like I once had it?

68. I use more than one email address. Previously, both my screen names were "stacked" in the same AIM box. This was great so I could go back and forth. I upgraded my AOL desktop and now one of them is missing! I don't know how to get it back! AND, everytime I open AOL, I get two Welcome screens! One in standard AOL format and the other in Explorer format on two different tabs. Takes forever to load now too!

70. Why change everything around? Why not work on the features you offer...AOL Mobile?
For years I have tried to use the alerts features and reminders for sports and other subjects and never received one on my phone...customer services says "It should work."
Why keep advancing when you can't perfect the basics?

73. The whole page is so crowded now with information and pop-up and drop downs and adverts that I can no longer find nor have enough space to see the list of emails or read my emails - which is all I want to be able to do. Please give me more free space!

74. I have been supremely irritated with the changes to my aol page. I cannot find my Favorites that I had saved in the past and that is really really important to me! Please help me find them again! Also, I have to log onto my aol page through Internet Explorer and cannot use my desktop icon anymore.........why and can I change that back? It takes much longer to click and then view my emails than before and it's just not as user friendly. :(

Magilla,
The preset settings are meant for saving your favorite AOL Radio stations, such as Top Pop, Top Alternative, etc...

76. Please direct me over to the developers or IT group for the email box design. I wish to have some designer inject a SENT EMAIL related find/search device for mails I have output. This feature was offered in the now discontinued Open Drive desktop. Such a feature is very helpful when attempting to rapidly locate and review older sent mails. In the past all I would do is type a few character letters for the subject or email address to receive a list of related emails output. Essentially this button keeps a client from having to scroll and scroll backwards email by email to locate a mere previously produced email. I truly miss this feature and now fully realize its value. Do you or your email division team realize its value to us all?? I plead with them to offer it quickly and within the next free update. Currently only a redundant ENHANCED BY GOOGLE search button appears within the sent email window. Direct me to the right people or help me if you can immediately.
Thanks,
K. D.

79. I don't have the triangle tabs in the corner of the panels, so I can't change my previews. Why would that be?

80. I just heard about this I think that its a good thing to have this service avalible for people to use so that they don;t have to try and keep looking for what they need or what they have on their computer. This is a real positive for me and anyone who wishes or is currently useing this idea for saceing stuff form the computer.
