Today we introduced 6 new Preview Panels that are now available to everyone and we are really excited about them. Added to the list are new Preview Panels for eBay, Finance, Health, Movies, Music, and TMZ.
To refresh everyone's memory, Preview Panels are the 4 large buttons at the top right of the page that expand when you mouse over them. What's great about Preview Panels is that they present a lot of information without taking up a lot of space and cluttering your homepage. Just rollover the Preview Panel to see the content you want without having to click off to another page. Plus, customization options allow you to choose the Preview Panels you want to appear on your homepage.
To select one of these new panels, simply click on the small triangle in the upper right of any of the Preview Panels (except Mail which is permanent – everyone wants to see their e-mail right?). Once you choose a new Preview Panel, your web browser will remember your choices and load these up for you every time you open the page.

We hope that you have a chance to try them all and see which ones you like best. Over the next few weeks, we will highlight each of the new Preview Panels on the blog to give you a better understanding of the new features and functionality.
So we really want to hear your feedback on the all of the new Preview Panels. Do you like them? Are they easy to use? Are there things you wish they could do to make it even better? Are there other Preview Panels that you don't see that you would find useful?
We look forward to hearing from you!!!

Magilla - our team only manages the AOL portal homepages, so I cant help you directly. But I do want to point you in the right direction, so you may want to try posting your message on the AOL radio Blog. Here is the link:

This is a frustrating thing to navigate. Your homepage is clogged with too much stuff and I can see layers behind the surface shot. I also am seeing other peoples (aol users) email addresses come up as if I have logged into someone else's mail file when I log on for my own email. The past couple of days has me actively considering that I need to cancel my more than 10 year AOL subscription and switch for security reasons.

The computer is only remembering two of my choices, although it remembered them all in the past. Every time I open the site, I have to select my choice AGAIN!

E.A.,
thanks for the feedback. Were glad to hear that you liked the new options.
We actually took the Finance Preview Panel down today (only temporarily) while we work out a few kinks. But dont worry it will be back up soon - I'll be sure to make a blog posting when its available again so that you are aware. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jones3219,
The only reason that should happen is if you cleared the cookies from your browser. Let me know if you're still having problems with your computer not remembering your choices and we'll see if we cant figure out why thats happening for you.

vonblucher,
thanks for the feedback. Can you give me a little more info on the issue of seeing other peoples sign-in info? Are you using a computer at home or at a public place? If its at a public place, it could be that a previous user used the Keep Me Signed In option. Click here for more info on that:
http://help.aol.com/help/dynamickc.do?externalId=http--helpchannelsaolcom-kjumpadparticleId222965&sliceId=&command=show&forward=nonthreadedKC&kcId=http--helpchannelsaolcom-kjumpadparticleId222965
When in public or shared locations, you have to be careful when clicking remember passwords or keep you signed in. AOL keeps security and privacy as a highest priority, so you can rest assured that your information is secure.

So much coding has been added that nothing works reasonably well. Using address list is almost impossible. Not a good "improvement"

What on earth is going on. I can't find anything familiar on my AOL page and it's not allowing me into my e-mail. HELP!
