Hopefully everyone has had a chance to check out the new Preview Panels including eBay that was previously spotlighted in our earlier blog entry.
This week, I wanted to provide a little more information about one of the other new Preview Panels - Health!
We all need to take care of ourselves, and keeping up with the latest Health news is of course vitally important. The new Preview Panel really helps to quickly and easily keep up with what's new in the world of Health directly from the AOL.com homepage.
When you select the Health supertab (click here for more info on how to change your Preview Panel options), if you put your mouse over the Health icon, the Preview Panel will expand and you will see the 5 top Health stories of the day including a quick overview of the lead Health story. Clicking on any of these headlines will take you to the complete article for more information.
Also included in the Health Preview Panel are some really useful links that I wanted to alert you to.
-
Better Body Blog – Links you to the
AOL Body Blog where you can read and comment on diet and fitness
-
AOL Body – Links you to directly to the AOL Body, your destination for in-depth information about health issues as well as research and learn about specific diets, health information, fitness, and current health news.
-
Symptom Checker - Links you to the
AOL automated symptom checker. This is a great tool with content provided by the faculty of Harvard Medical School that gives an easy, user friendly way to help you narrow down potential conditions based on the symptoms you are experiencing.
I hope you have a chance to try the new Health Preview Panel and as always, we are very interested in your feedback. So please let us know what you think!

Yes, You have a great ideal! However, if you have one disease that creates another. Then before you know it you are dealing with multiple diseases. No Doctor wants to help you because you are past the stage of being helped. So all you can do is suffer and still home. If you go out people look at you and say you why are you not taking care of yourself. They do not understand what diseases you have. So you try to get help and the other Doctor says the same thing because he does not understand the rare disease too! It's just a hopeless case! So what can a person do? Don't tell me. Medical Specialists says that there is not a thing that can be done. So I just should quit! Wouldn't you?

Get rid of the straw poll guy. He was biased from the start and is just irritating. I am sick of the media running the numbers. He should have to go out and get a real job. He obviously doesn't have the ability needed to run for office.

I quite agree with you. Yeah, I also think health is most important thing for us these years. Since most of us are no longer struggling between poor lines, so what we do care about is health. Health is everything for us.
Of course I hope I will keep healthy all my life, the good news is that I am seldom ill.

Just let me do my email, and quite enhancing the options. Email already pulls us into our computer worlds for a disproportionate amount of time, and aol's continued effort to make us look at your own screens is irritating to many.

I've been trying to change my email address from KonaGold@konacoast.com to AlcanHwy@POBox.Com. I always get the verification note saying that they will send my email to the to the KonaGold@Konacost.com address. My problem is that my mail server stopped using email address with the @konacost and an optional name. What can I do about it?

I don't know where else to post this comment:
There should be a way to forward spam to the spam reporting addresses without opening the message first (I never open spam Emails)

Who writes this crap? The quality of the writing and content in this blog is incredibly low. It's boring. And badly written.

Ham,
Its actually not something that you can opt out of. We run those highlight bubbles periodically so that we can alert our customers about new features that they might not otherwise be aware of. It doesnt show up every time you visit the page and only stays visible for a few seconds. We always try and strike a balance with promotions like this, so I apologize if your seeing it too much for your liking. Dont worry, its not a permament feature!
