You may have noticed that we've made some major changes to the home page. And if you haven't, we're in the process of rolling them out to everyone in the coming weeks. So change is coming soon.
We've spent several months working hard to design an experience that makes it easy for you to access the things YOU care about most – right from your AOL.com home page. So, we are opening our site to include features you've told us are important to you -- whether it's access to different email accounts or your favorite Web sites. You're stuff is as important as our (AOL) stuff.
A little over a month ago we introduced Gmail and Yahoo! mail previews to the AOL.com home page. We received a lot of positive feedback from you when we introduced the feature so we knew we were on to something.
Today, we are pleased to introduce more features that, we hope, will save you time and make your online routine a little easier and more relevant. You'll now find access to some of your favorite Social Networks, an RSS Feed Browser that lets you read news from other Web sites, customizable navigation, enhanced Local information featuring real-time news and some fun new themes -- all available right on your AOL.com home page.
We want to thank you for your feedback. It helped us build the site you see today. We'd like to keep the conversation going and continue listening to what you like, don't like and really wish you could have on your homepage. So please leave comments on the blog or send us feedback.
We hope enjoy the new AOL.com home page. And if you want to learn more about the new features, click on the links below. Or, sit back, relax and watch the Page Tour. Enjoy!

CALLOUSNESS, This seems to be the key word that summarizes AOL's behavior. Why don't you announce that you are abandoning your service and merely intent to run it in a dormant low cost low budget mode?
I have tried to use your webmail internet page. It crawls. It is so slow to get on to. Since version 5.0 is the only version that works on my old computer, I prefer that text based email version.

I didn't find out that I no longer had my web-site until it was too late even to salvage the data. I received no notice about this, or if I did, it was not obvious it was important, was mistaken for junk, and deleted. This is not something that AOL should have allowed to happen. I'm stunned. I can't believe this will prove to be a good business decision for AOL.

WHO in the hell has time to keep dealing with all these changes all the time. YOu can have something that works, and is quick and easy. Then some stupid 12yr old aol software writter scramble the whole thing around just to justify their JOB and say they are doing something.

NOTHING WORKS! THey ask for feedback, but there is no place to do so. AOL states you can save or load up your FTP files, but there is NO INFO on how to do so. Just more kindergarden flash and splash on the stupid new aol. How many times does aol need to be NEW so no one can use it?

Will the 'new' AOL have a blog or some type of member homepage like Hometown AOL? I loved having my own 'webpage' and loved being able to share stuff with family around the county. ~Heather DeBuse

None of the links to the homepage ever work. They always say "The service you are trying to reach is temporarily unavailable - please try your request again.. "

We are witnessing what some journalists call “the disintegration of the financial system.” How did we get here? How did some bad subprime mortgages lead to what is beginning to look like the collapse of capitalism? This is decision time. This is a turning point. Many people have scoffed that the world would never change in an instant, that one man could never come to power in an instant, that the end could not come in an instant!! But it is happening!!!!

I really do not understand the new feature of AOL. It's all the same, it's just everything has been rearrange. And also there's different in the wallpaper color.

I am shocked---My website are gone. How could you do this? Hours and hours of work are gone plus data that cannot be replaced. AOL should be sued by their members for this outrageous deed.

Why isn't there a "White Voices" Section on AOL? There is a "Black Voices" page. Just curious.
