We know change is tough and have heard some feedback from many of you that while you like the new features on the redesigned AOL.com Homepage, you don't love the choices for the color schemes. Many of you in fact wanted to keep the Ecru (yes its a fancy word for tan...) color that our page used to be.
So you asked and we responded. You will now find that you have a new "Classic" Theme added to your choices in the upper right hand of the page.

Just like the other themes, you can click through and check out the different look and feel of the page that each Theme brings and keep the one you like best! We will be very shortly adding in many more options for page themes - from subtle choices to wild color options - so we'll be sure to let you know when those are available.

I just want to know why I have chosen the NEW redesigned aol.homepage and it is constantly switching back to the CLASSIC out of no where! And it is torture trying to get back to it! What's up with that?

The same thing happens to me. How are you getting the new redesigned aol.homepage with the themes?

I like the new choices, and the new AOL opening page. I, too have chosen a new theme, yet each time I log out, I have to repeat my choice when I sign back in. I believe once a choice is made, it should remain in place until changed again by the user. It seems that the setting option on the mail page has this option in place, so why not give the same option on the sign in page?

I want the classic site back, and I don't want it to switch to this new design. I don't like it at all. This new design sucks. It's now the ugliest site on the web. It use to have class. I want the old site back for me. I don't care what others do or what they prefer.

Hey Frank - you dont have to stay with the new design if you dont want to. If youd like to have the old page back you can using the links to "Back to Classic" at the top of the page. Or you can just click here:

Had the same problem. Used the Optout url but it reverted back to classic as soon as I closed the page and relaunched it. How do you save the opt out feature? This classic is disgusting.

Stop complaining they say but if you have issues what are you to do..My suggestions using the New Homepage in the first place is remove all Aol.com on the Add-remove que and then re-dnload with your CD..either use the Homepage it comes with or go to KEYWORD.UPGRADE
