We know change is tough and have heard some feedback from many of you that while you like the new features on the redesigned AOL.com Homepage, you don't love the choices for the color schemes. Many of you in fact wanted to keep the Ecru (yes its a fancy word for tan...) color that our page used to be.
So you asked and we responded. You will now find that you have a new "Classic" Theme added to your choices in the upper right hand of the page.

Just like the other themes, you can click through and check out the different look and feel of the page that each Theme brings and keep the one you like best! We will be very shortly adding in many more options for page themes - from subtle choices to wild color options - so we'll be sure to let you know when those are available.

I don't like this new page and want the classic site back but every time I click on classic site it just stays on the new one. I even tried the link from the aol response above and that didn't work either. How can I get back to the classic site?

So when you click the link to go back to classic, does the page not change at all? Are you maybe on an HP page? Whats the web address you see (i.e. www.aol.com or something else)?

The color of your presentation matters little to me in contrast to your content. I'm looking for a more 'news' worthy list of articles rather than the tabloid approach I feel you are offering.

I used to be able to keep my Away message on and still chat on AIM... Now I can't! What happened? I didn't change anything. I really liked that I could do that before. Can someone please help?!

The last update with little enlightenment from you as to different functions, caused me a lot of misery and groping my way through new procedures. Why can't you pay us the small courtesy of explanations when you make drastic changes?

I am new to this blog...but cannot find answers to my question elsewhere on aol. I keep getting a pop-up for a virus protection in the right lower corner of my home page screen. I tried to go to Marketing Preferences to change it, but it won't let me. It keeps saying that the page is not accessible at this time and to come back in 5 min. I have tried all day....very frustrating!!!!!!!! Can aol fix this?

The new AOL is AWFUL. I no longer have automatic spell check on e-mail, can't find 'Waiting to be sent", have difficulty with attachments, and many more things that I was able to do with Classic AOL.

Your "HELP" phone service SUCKS! I don't appreciate talking to a computer that eventually hangs up on me. It would pay you to get Human Beings to resolve YOUR Problems.....

Can someone help me please. I have had AOL forever and decided to upgrade to the AOL 10 and there is only one thing that I can't figure out. When you sign on and it greets you how come you can't change the voice and have it say your name and all that stuff. I really liked that about the old one and the new AOL does not seem to have that option. Is it even an option? Can someone help?

I would really like to see more real news items rather than all the junk about celebrities and gossip-does not excite me in any way-would also like more real control on what ads appear on the welcome page-do not like present selection much-do like the Fire Fox toolbar as I refuse to use IE for browsing. What is up with the 'classic' theme? This is NOT what I wanted for my AOL home page. Until now I had control over my homepage design preference. Now I am unable to access it at MY convenience. If this new "classic' page is to be what I am stuck with I can drop AOL. AOL offers mostly tabloid headlines of no value or interest accept to a demographic to which we do not belong. Please respond ASAP!
Thanks!

Love it, I have been using on another computer and I have not left AOL, since I have had computers. Thank you for the service I do received. Thank you, Glenda

Just let me get to my mail and forget all the other fancy 'features'. It is more and more difficult to just find the right page for mail and AIMs.

This new format is insulting and condescending. If it does not work correctly just say so and fix it, but do not blame paying consumers for your incompetence.
