We know change is tough and have heard some feedback from many of you that while you like the new features on the redesigned AOL.com Homepage, you don't love the choices for the color schemes. Many of you in fact wanted to keep the Ecru (yes its a fancy word for tan...) color that our page used to be.
So you asked and we responded. You will now find that you have a new "Classic" Theme added to your choices in the upper right hand of the page.

Just like the other themes, you can click through and check out the different look and feel of the page that each Theme brings and keep the one you like best! We will be very shortly adding in many more options for page themes - from subtle choices to wild color options - so we'll be sure to let you know when those are available.

Above and beyond all the cosmetic stuff, this new aol will no longer allow me to write to message boards about the news. I get the code screen but no code to enter. Has anyone else had this problem? And all the sites that have photos that are inaccessible unless you disable your pop-up blocker? What's with hem? They don't work even if yo do disable it.

How do I get your ad of the classic stuff off . Half of the words I cannot read because half are missing. I like the old screen. I have finally gotten high speed (the only thing available finally, where I live.) I don't even need aol anymore. Keep it because I like it. Are you giving me a reason to cancel it? A lot of people don't understand computers. Make it complicated and you will lose.
Me included. How do I go back to my news sign-in screen. I want to get rid of this screen. HOW

Hi Barry - If you chose to go back to the old design, you should see a link in the upper left saying "Try New AOL.com". Clicking that link should take you back to the new page. Or you could just use this link http://www.aol.com/?optin=new-dp

I would love to see AOL be part of the bankrupt businesses. The advertisements and banners "floating" across the main page are maddening!!!!!! I know ads generate income, but we pay for this service and don't need to have ads thrown in our faces that not only do we have to pay for, but we do not wish to open in the first place. The MOMENT broadband is available in my area, I will celebrate dropping AOL like a hot potato. If they keep up adding more and more advertising, they will lose more customers than they generate.

I use AOL for business and really hate the change in the "search" when I need to go back and look at an old e-mail. It doesn't work. The old format was easy, so much better, I could pull up any old e-mail I needed. Very frustrating! Go back to the old Search.
Also--the AOL search the web--not effective. I almost always end up going back to Google to get what I need. The Search that pops up every time you open annoying as well.
