There are lots of things you can do to personalize your AOL.com homepage. For instance, you can apply a special theme and add your favorite sites to My Links. In the past, we've saved settings like this on your computer in a browser cookie. This method works fine for most, but there is always the chance that this information can be cleared from your computer and wipe away any personalized settings.
To reduce the risk of this happening, all of your settings will now be tied to your AOL/AIM screen name when you sign in to the page. This means that your preferences will follow you to any computer you use to sign in. You'll get your page just the way you like it whether you are at work, home, on the go -- anywhere!

Reported by Jinge (Jan Inge FLÜCHT) 07 Nov 2009
fem aktiebolag i tjugoen länder.

I am so damned disgusted with AOL -- and the inability to complain to a human -- that I'd like to drop the whole @#$% thing. I have been on AOL since I started using a PC and that's around 20 years. Now you want me top sign in? Want my password? What the devil is with you robots? Many of my friends have switched and use Gmail and I'm ready despite having to notify so many contacts. AND I WOULD LIKE A REPLY FROM A HUMAN BEING!

Thank you. I have been trying unsuccessfully to complain to aol that using GOOGLE has resulted in problems with my business. You are the first to give a motive for the problem. The only thing is I am haveing problems with Google since my website there is also non-responsive.

JT, something I've learned about computer and web sites, etc, etc. is; when they offered latest version or update version, just don't accept it. I have the oldest MSN, AOL version, and I don't have any problem.
But I agree to you about talk to a HUMAN BEING.

This is simply the very worst it's ever been. If I could get the same rate (appx $5.xx) I'd switch to MSN in a shot.

I totally agree. I can no longer do ANYTHING! I can't change, backgrounds, I can't look up billing information, I can't see real news stories. All I can do is check email and browse the web. I can't contact anyone, there is no one there. I feel like droping AOL and going somewhere where I can DO things.

Well, stay with it a while longer and you will. I have always stuck up for AOL and loved it, but the last couple years it has really changed. When you have a problem, and it doesn't get resolved (even though you follow Tech instructions to fix it, (& MY computer is NEW) then it AOL does have it's issues, and problems like everyother one.
I still like the AOL format, so I am not quitting but I am not in a particularly happy frame of mind with it either. A year ago they took away our Journals, and yet those of us that have the paid version pay extra for 1. Our high speed cable AND ALSO 2. Pay AOL. They are making money still but we aren't getting better or the same service we did a couple years ago.
