Greetings to the AOL Community,

The day has come for us to unveil the new and improved AOL Welcome Screen! It's been quite some time since we made any changes to it, to the point that it was beginning to look and feel quite dated. We truly appreciate the thousands of you who took the time to let us know what elements are most important to you in a homepage and what you'd like to see more of -- we used that feedback to shape this new page!

We know that change is hard, and it takes time and effort to get used to something new, but we hope in the long run that you come to love this page as much as the old one. We've done our best to keep the layout as close to the old Welcome Screen as we can. Looking for your mail preview? It's in the same place as before! What about local news? You will still find it right column.

Some things have moved. For example, you will see the current temperature at the top right of the page. Clicking on the weather icon next to mail will jump you down to the Local News and Weather section where the three-day forecast now resides.

There are a few new things as well, like video! Who doesn't love cute animal clips or the latest viral video? Plus you'll get introduced to our award-winning "You've Got" video series!

And if you are looking for the directory, it's now located conveniently across the page starting just under the logo. Your favorite AOL sites are still just a click away.

If you have questions about the new page, please check out our list of FAQs.
