We appreciate your loyal support this past year. We know that you have many options to choose from and we're glad that you've chosen AOL.
We're listening to you.
We've heard your feedback and we're continuing to work to improve your overall user experience, whether it's providing you with the type of content that you want to see or improvements to make your browsing experience faster and safer, across all platforms and devices.
We're working harder for you.
We want to bring you the best content from all across the Web, including our owned and operated properties and other great content from our diverse set of partners. It's our goal to inform, entertain and connect our audience.
Here are just a few of the improvements we've made this past year and new programs that we've launched:
Members now have access to the new and improved AOL Favorites on the Web. Our classic bookmarking experience is better than ever. We've added additional features, including a great browser extension, optimized tablet experience and sleek mobile access to boot.
Customizing Latest Headlines
From time to time our members have expressed their desire to see news stories on AOL.com from a wider variety of sources. Members spoke, and we listened!
Now you can choose from one of several different news providers for the Latest Headlines section. Simply select the news provider you want from the drop-down (which appears to the right of "Latest Headlines") and the section will populate with stories from that source.
Debates and Elections Live Blogs
2012 was another big year for news and major events with the London Olympics, Hurricane Sandy, and the Presidential Elections to name a few. AOL.com provided real-time coverage for our users in new innovative ways with live streaming of all four presidential debates, liveblogs with bloggers from across the country and a real-time election dashboard displaying up-to-the-minute voting results. We've been striving to provide the kind of in-depth live coverage that our users have come to expect, and we'll continue to have more features like this in 2013.
We're giving back.
We've taken our responsibility as America's homepage seriously. We support over 400 nonprofit partners through our Cause of the Day program, including important initiatives like helping Americans find jobs and supporting our troops and veterans.
We've let our audience lend their support as well. Because of you, AOL has been able to donate 1 million minutes of talk-time, send 18,000 letters of support to our service members and donate a mobile computer lab, all through a new program we launched this year called Homepage for Heroes.
We want to hear from you.
