We've been hard at work developing the updates you should now see on your welcome screen starting today. So we would like to take the time to go over the changes that have been implemented.
Here is a quick list of what has changed:
#1 The page is wider, spanning three columns and providing far more content than was previously available on the homepage

#2 The "Refresh" link has shifted to a new location, sitting near the top right corner. Of course, clicking on the AOL logo will also refresh the page.

#3 To the right of the search box you will see the sleek new icons that provide you quick access to AOL Mail, AOL On and Favorites. You will also find the Options menu where you can change your canvas art and access your AOL account settings.

#4 You will now see the new streamlined AOL navigation bar to give you easy access to your favorite areas of AOL. Pop up your AIM Buddy List or kick off AOL Radio by clicking on them here.

#5 Don't worry. We have not forgotten about the weather. You will find it in the navigation bar on the right side. Want to see the full forecast? Click on the icon to find out what Mother Nature has planned for your area.

#6 You likely have noticed an update to the rotating news feature, making the top stories on AOL bigger and better than ever.
#7 Lastly, your Local news has moved off from the right side of the page over to the left underneath the Latest Headlines news.

That sums up the updates to the AOL homepage! Please feel free to let us know what you think. We want to hear from you.
We hope that you will enjoy the updates, and that these enhancements to improve your experience.
Cheers,
The AOL Homepages Team

In early June, a fresh new screen will be welcoming you online to AOL! While we strive to keep things as consistent as we can for you most of the time, it's important every once in a while to update the page so that we can ensure we are delivering the very best homepage experience.
And so, without further ado...
TA-DA! Here it is!

For those of you connecting via dial-up or with smaller screen resolutions will get an updated screen that maintains the current width.
Members with broadband connections and larger screen resolutions, your page will expand wider with more news to keep you better informed than ever before. (More detail on that here.)
Also, please note that we'll continue to maintain two Welcome Screen options -- the AOL Experience and AOL Small Business. All screens will be getting makeovers.
Don't worry, you will still have access to all of the same info, services and destinations that you do today. We'll make the transition as easy as we can with a useful tutorial to help show you around. Until then, please feel free to let us know what you think. We want to hear from you!
We hope that you will enjoy the updates that are coming, and that these enhancements improve your Welcome Screen experience for years to come.
Cheers,
