Scared of Change? "Classic" AOL.com Theme is now Available!

We know change is tough and have heard some feedback from many of you that while you like the new features on the redesigned AOL.com Homepage, you don't love the choices for the color schemes. Many of you in fact wanted to keep the Ecru (yes its a fancy word for tan...) color that our page used to be.

So you asked and we responded. You will now find that you have a new "Classic" Theme added to your choices in the upper right hand of the page.

Just like the other themes, you can click through and check out the different look and feel of the page that each Theme brings and keep the one you like best! We will be very shortly adding in many more options for page themes - from subtle choices to wild color options - so we'll be sure to let you know when those are available.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OUR AOL & SONY USERS

The AOL and Sony partnership is changing. As a result of this change, your homepage will be changed in early January.

What does this mean for you?

For those of you who are currently enjoying the AOL homepage available at Sony.aol.com, your homepage settings will be changed in early January UNLESS you take action to keep your homepage like it is today.

We recommend keeping AOL.com as your homepage so that you can continue to enjoy all the great features you enjoy today without interruption. By keeping your homepage settings, you will be able to continue to access to your AOL mail, Yahoo mail, GMail, staying up to date with friends and family and access to the best of the web and your favorite sites -- all from one place and without interruption.

If you do not take action, your homepage will be changed in early January to a completely new page.

You can always choose to set your homepage to AOL.com in the future, however, its likely easier to avoid interruption to your service by taking action now.

How do I do this?

To keep AOL.com as your homepage, simply click here & follow the instructions listed here for the browser you are using.

Please be sure to close and re-open/relaunch your browser (ex. Internet Explorer) so that the change becomes effective.

You should see aol.com as your new homepage with all the same great features that you are used to having.

Will my page look different?

You will notice that the color of the homepage is different when you take this option.

If you so desire, you can choose a new theme and page color by clicking on one of the choices in the upper right corner of the page

What about my Favorites?

For many of our AOL & Sony users, you have used the AOL Software before and have many favorites included.
